At 223-A Augusta Avenue, in the heart of Toronto’s Kensington Market, we share approximately 1,200 square feet devoted to making, thinking, experimenting, and exchanging ideas.
The studio includes two working spaces, an experimental area that can shift from everyday production into a small gallery and gathering space, and a rooftop terrace that extends the studio into the open air.
It is not conceived simply as a place to work, but as a shared environment where different practices can exist alongside one another — independently, yet in conversation. Ideas move between tables, materials, discussions, quiet moments, and occasional collaborations. The space changes with the work taking place within it.
Our intention is to allow the space to grow gradually: welcoming artists, collaborators, conversations, and new forms of experimentation while preserving the intimacy and generosity that make a creative space feel lived in.
We are interested in building something enduring rather than hurried — a friendly, established place where people can make work, encounter one another, and feel comfortable enough to explore what may come next.
